    Constance McKee is founder and CEO of Asilomar Pharmaceuticals, Inc. Asilomar is developing drugs to improve treatment of the peripheral nervous system. She was previously Chief Executive of Cambridge Quantum Fund, a seed fund at Cambridge University, and was a founder of one of CQF's portfolio companies. In addition to founding Asilomar, since returning to the US in 1995 she has invested in or advised 15 early-stage companies in life sciences and technology. Constance has an undergraduate degree in liberal arts from Stanford and an MBA from Yale University. She has been a member of Licensing Executives Society since 1990.

    John S. Patton is a world-renowned expert in the delivery of peptides and proteins. Before co-founding Inhale Therapeutic Systems, he led the drug delivery group at Genentech, Inc., where he demonstrated the feasibility of systemic delivery of large molecules through the lungs. Prior to joining Genentech, Inc., Dr. Patton was a tenured professor at the University of Georgia. He has published a wide range of scientific articles and has presented his work in national and international arenas. Dr. Patton received his Ph.D. in biology from the University of California, San Diego, and held post-doctoral positions in biomedicine at Harvard Medical School and the University of Lund in Sweden.
